Not only is toothpaste good for your teeth, but it also holds many more benefits in our everyday lives.

A scratched mirror can be repaired using toothpaste. You can use any toothpaste that is available easily in your home. Preferably, the one with baking soda in it.

If you use gel toothpaste, you need to avoid it. Buy white fluoride toothpaste.

For this method, you will need:

  1. A soft and clean cloth
  2. Little water
  3. White fluoride toothpaste

Wet the little portion of the cloth and apply a very small amount of toothpaste to that area.

Rub this portion of the fabric against the scratches on the mirror. Rub gently for 30 seconds. You can continue for more than 30 seconds until you see the progress.

Repeat the process three times and see the magic.

Some abrasive ingredients in the toothpaste remove the scratches from the mirror and give off a shining mirror that gives an aesthetic appeal to the room.

A metal polish will leave you absolutely stunned with its results. If the metal polish contains a ceramic oxide, you are 100% getting rid of scratches on the mirror.

The presence of the abrasive chemical in the metal polish like that of ceramic oxide removes scratches quickly.

For this technique, you will need:

  1. Microfiber cloth
  2. Metal polish

You need to be a bit more careful while working on this method, as the presence of abrasive chemicals might damage the mirror.

Begin by wrapping the microfiber cloth around your finger. Then apply a really small amount of metal polish on the fabric and start rubbing it gently on the mirror where you see the scratch.

Rub it for 30 seconds or up to one minute if the scratch is stubborn.

You will definitely love to see your face in the spotless and clean mirror surface after this technique.

For this technique, you need to purchase steel wool  from the market. Since steel wool is not usually available in the house, so it can be considered a bit expensive method.

There is no rocket science or hard and fast rule to follow for this technique to work. Simply get a small piece of steel wool and rub it gently in the circular motion on the scratch.

Continue it for 30 to 40 seconds. You will see the clean shining surface in a minute.

To prevent any sort of damage, do not rub too hard on the surface. Buff gently.

Remove the product from the mirror using a clean cloth, and here you see the tarnished and smooth mirror surface.
